The magic incantation is: cd %temp% dir /O-D /P Pause rd %temp% /s /Q md %temp% dir /O-D /P pause The Pauses are there so that I can convince myself that I am not automatically blowing away all my pics, or something I really want. Basically, all this does is blow away the system's temporary directory, and recreate it. If any of the temp files are actually in use, they do not get deleted.
