It tried to crawl out of the bottle. Must be that we have too many other hotting up options here, with some Asian influence. All manner of chilli things competing for our attention. I grinned re your student and the Photo Flo. Those negs were destined to drip dry quickly, I guess. Still they've squandered the inheritance now. Tabasco gets way funky within a year and besides, well, it sucks. The best hot sauce is "Louisiana", the original, the perfect (that's what it says on the label). In the South you judge the quality of a diner by the hot sauce on the red plastic checked table top - there's Trappey's Bull, Texas Pete, Crystal, etc., but "Louisiana" is what you're looking for. And it doesn't last long enough to go bad. And a bottle costs 50 cents. Also, I never manage to keep a bottle of photo-flo in the student darkroom for more than a year. Last semester I had a kid in Photo 1 pour a whole pint into his tank; I don't know what he thought it was, but there was lather everywhere. --- G Hopkinson <hoppyman@bigpond.net.au> wrote: > Mark, I think that Leo is referring to colour > managed workflow, with profiles for every device, > soft proofing and then WYSIWYG print > output. > Do you find that Photo Flo in the darkroom is like > that bottle of Tabasco sauce in the cupboard?
