With dedicated lenses, I thought they would be much smaller than dedicated 35mm lenses, and I was surprised they were not all that much smaller, till I read about the system and realized that to keep the "rays" parallel the camera had a longer lens to sensor distance than the 35mm "relatively" and therefore the lenses did need to be larger. Leica could not change the distance with the M and solved it with the new M8 other ways: I wonder if Olympus would do likewise now. cheers
