He took a dental x- ray with his new digital x-ray machine. The sensor was a plastic wrapped card connected by a wire to a small computer. It was placed behind my teeth, the x-ray machine was positioned outside my mouth and the exposure made. Within a couple of seconds, the x-ray image was displayed on a 17" computer screen. Here is the question. The sensor was about the size and thickness of a 35 mm slide. My quick visual estimate was that it could be stripped out of its plastic covering and slipped into the film slot of a Leica. The wire could be easily led out of the camera though a hole in the baseplate. Admittedly the dental x-ray is only in B&W and I don't know the resolution but the image looked pretty sharp on the monitor. Have any dentists tried to take pictures with their digital x-ray machines? Can it be done? Larry Z
