( if you have a fancy heated drying press use it, but follow the rest of the instructions anyway.....) After drying thoroughly ( and this will take several days) put under pressure for a few more days. No heat. I use the platens cold, and just LAY the top down, no lock. After a few days to maybe a week or so the prints will be about 90% flat. Getting ready to mount....This occurs as you are getting it all together.. do not try this to store prints for later mounting. Warm up the press. Put print between 2 sheets of mount board and put in the press for maybe 30 seconds. The prints WILL be flat and warm. Position, tack etc. onto the mount. You are using Seal Mount tissue? Put on a cover release sheet. Put another 2 pieces of mount board in the press. Put back in the press for a maximum of 3 minutes, experiment with 2 minutes to see if that is enough. Take out of the press, place face DOWN on a flat surface for maybe 1/2 minute, then put some weight on top for maybe another 5 minutes..... Bob's your uncle..... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
