I see your point...I would sit down and type out a business 
style, very matter of fact letter outlining the (3) incidents 
addressed "personal for" (senior owners name) making it
clear in his/her mind why this is totally unsat and just plain
bad business...wouldn't hurt to indicate you're experience
in the industry and sphere of influence within...1000 Leica 
users is a load of potential customers!!!!
