I'm in their corner for the most part. Except on the R1D1. Which I'd not turn down on a cold night. But did Omega and Durst and Beseler try to come out with cameras? Well that's a different story as an enlarger is a camera of sorts. A process camera; all in one room. Some did good copy work as a copy camera with a little fiddling. Dursts. You've just got to shoot the light through the other direction of the lens that's all! Those enlarger lenses do that! And have the film that's in there be not exposed.
