Alastair, none of your pictures will open up for me. I've had this problem 
with your post before but no one elses??
Not sure why?

When you mention the resources of Canon and sensor development etc in  your 
post it brought to my mind a question.
I wonder if Canon will ever develop a rangefinder camera? Just imagine the 
job they could likely do with the resources of that company
and have an M mount to use our Leica lenses. Just imagine if they brought 
one out in conjunction with Leica bringing out the M8. I wonder
what kind of response that would have been like for both companies. Just 
dreaming here!!!

Thanks for your post, just wish I could open the pics from the M8.
