Subject: [Leica] OT - DVD to MPEG-4 converter (Windows)

Totally off-topic: can someone recommend a good share- or freeware PC 
tool to convert sequences of  DVD movies (.vob) in MPEG-4? I know 
.vob is based on MPEG-2. The DVDs are self burned on DVD-R by a 
client that wishes to publish some sequences in the web; so there's 
no copyright issue. I have googled around but there are so many 
converters that it's difficult to check them out all.

Any advice is appreciated,
