Actually it has some advantages over the AF top end Canon's and Nikons. Have you ever tried to focus an SLR in really low light? It is kind of hard to do, also if you are using AF it hunts like crazy and is almost impossible to get a lock. Rangefinders are superior to SLRs in this situation. Also the size, weight factor make the Leica M appealing. I will be buying one and adding it back into my working gear after some months have passed and the initial bugs are worked. I learned my lesson buying new Leica stuff with the R8 many years ago. Buying it in lieu of an SLR, maybe not but definitely in addition to. -- Harrison McClary Harrison McClary Photography harrison@mcclary.net http://www.mcclary.net ImageStockSouth - Stock Photography http://www.imagestocksouth.com Tobacco Road: Personal Blog: http://web.mac.com/whmcclary/iWeb/tobacco-road/Blog/Blog.html
