Subject: [Leica] M8 and Viso

Just pondering this combination. It would seem to work physically (top-plate 
clearance,) if the 
shutter release is still positioned under the Viso's trip arm. And exposure 
setting would require 
that the Viso's mirror first be raised (same as with an M6) then lowered for 
final composition*. 
Thus, the combination would seem to be practical only with stationary 
subjects and likely a tripod, 
and even then rather awkward, methinks.

* would aperture-priority auto (M7/8) work fast enough to obviate the 
mirror-up step?
