If you were to examine a frame by frame comparison of a Minox negative with proper film to the P+S Digicams, I think you would find out that most of the "quality" that comes from the Digicam is from eye image retention not the "quality" of the sensor.. Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net It is perfectly clear that digital sensors are, size for size, way better than film - anybody who has used a premium miniature camera such as a minox will have noticed this, P&S digicams have sensors a tiny fraction of the size of the minox negative yet give obviously superior results.
