It would have been useful to sit down (over a beer perhaps?) with both computers and compare internet settings. Anyway, it doesn't matter much now since I don't plan to be back in Europe for some time and my Powerbook works fine in Asia.:-) Cheers Howard On 17 Oct 2006, at 8:59 AM, lug-request@leica-users.org wrote: > Message: 7 > Date: Mon, 16 Oct 2006 21:09:21 +0200 > From: Nathan Wajsman <nathan@nathanfoto.com> > Subject: Re: [Leica] OT Wifi and Apple Computers in Germany > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Message-ID: <4533D8E1.6030002@nathanfoto.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed > > Hi Howard, > > As I told you in Cologne, there must be something peculiar about > the way > your Powerbook is set up.
