Wonderful photograph, Jeffery! I can certainly appreciate the difficulty
in getting the eyes in focus. You make it look so easy. :-)

These two ladies may not look like working dogs, at least not the
traditional sense. But both are working dogs, and without a salary. Emma
and
Heidi are therapy dogs, which took about 2 years of training. They are
taken
to hospitals and old folks homes to cheer up the patients. Their
training?
Not to bark, bite, jump, lick (Emma is not too good on that one) or
otherwise intimidate or surprise the patient. They were in the office of
our
resident radiation therapy professor, so I stuck them on a chair and
snapped
their picture.

Getting two pairs of bulging eyes in focus at f/1.5 is not easy. They
look
more patient here than they were...they wanted to get in my lap (like
they
were trained to do).
