However, when the chromes come back, there it is. My one funny experience with SLR shutter lag and mirror black out involved an SL2 with a 2x converter fronting a 400/6.8. I was aimlessly shooting a bird perched at our feeder and I noticed a change of expression between before and after exposure. The bird seemed to be positively grinning after I took the shot. I am not slow. I can take a hint. I sold the SL2 and haven't looked back. John
