Subject: [Leica] M6 TTL SN# 2683xxx (what year was it manufactured)

Does anyone know when Leica M6 TTL .85 SN# 2683xxx was made. I'm thinking 
after 1999, but cameraquest's s/n numbers only go as far as 1999.
