Richard,
If you were an M user on a regular basis and made this too early move to 
 >>Nikon D200 with the legendary 50/1.4 AIS lens.<<< I don't have any doubt 
you'll be a sorry fellow.

That is of course unless you have the financial where with all to buy an M8 
as well as the Nikon.

Until one has the opportunity to use an M8, one might take some care at 
negative comments until they've had the experience of using it.

Much like the many negatives made by members before they even had an R8 in 
hand they were shooting it down...... only to become completely blown away 
once they had time shooting with it.

I fool you not at this point in time, the M8 is as much the classic as all 
the other M's. Now if you have no M lenses nor interest in shooting with 
one, fine! However if you are an M user and jumped to the Nikon it's 
possible you might be sorry you jumped a tad too quick.
