Indeed Christophe,  the Paiste Rude is a fine hi hat but I must buy what I 
can afford!  Jildjian Scimitar is the way to go for an amateur like me.  Now 
I did spend a bit more than what I should have when purchasing that nice 
used 24 inches Zildjian K series ride cymbal.  Superb sound.
