I been thinking about how few people shots I've done lately, and was wondering if I was losing it, clinging to the relative safety of flowers and still life. Just in front of me, a woman with a sleepy baby, so I lift the camera to get the "cute" shot. He raised his head, and looked at me right in the eye so intently, that I just knew this wasn't gonna be a "kid shot." I pushed the button, and since I was using the Pentax, I wasn't positive I had the moment. So I chimped and immediately knew I had a pretty good picture.
