Leica used to have glass pressure plates, Hasselblad and other photogrammetric cameras have glass pressure plates on the inside of the film to provide ultimate flatness. However, if I remember correctly, the ultimate was the Contax AX that had a vacuum formed so the film HAD to conform to the pressure plate. Now that was a good idea. But practically, this camera, for the piddling sum of a grand, would not offer this degree of accuracy, IMO. I go back to marketing hype. Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
