Folks -

Took a drive to this place near the Wisconsin border yesterday, walked
around for a coupla hours, shot some inhabitants in action. Got an
apparent feeding frenzy, some adult content, a front/back view of a
pair of morning doves, and a goldfinch with a lotta green tinge in its
(her?) feathers. Also, although I don't usually shoot "grounders" I
took a detailed shot of a bird that we can't identify (more of an ID
snap than an art piece, for sure.)

All shot with the 400 Telyt and a cheap tripod. In fact, now that I've
tried the all-pod-all-the-time thing for woodwalks I'm hooked enough to
want to start schlepping a more serious one. Suggestions for something
lighter than my much-loved Tiltall are hereby solicited.
