I confess that I prefer the colour version, at least that of the lounge and curtain. I do find the patches of bright light on the left hand edge distracting though. Just my humble amateur opinion. This is a really good learning exercise for me, looking at many great LUG image posts and making myself consider all of the elements and try to apply the same thought to my own. Tina Tina Manley, ASMP, NPPA http://www.tinamanley.com Tina, while they are all impressive, easily my favourites are the little girl bathing with the bucket and the solo portrait. http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/63683941 http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/63683949 Marvellous and striking. Also, I notice that you didn't have to upset her or take away her lollypop to make great images that tell a story about the human condition. Most houses, even in Tegucigalpa, do not have running water so there is a need for community laundry sites like this one under a huge ceiba tree. You'd think it was in the middle of nowhere, but it's in the middle of a city of 2,000,000 people. The barrios of Tegucigalpa are like a maze of dirt roads going straight up and straight down with cardboard and tin shacks everywhere. You could be lost there forever. There are 5 photos here. http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/laundry Comments welcome. I know you're probably getting tired of photos of Hondurans. I'll be gone Thursday ;-) Tina Tina Manley, ASMP, NPPA http://www.tinamanley.com
