Don't lose Enthusiasm: remember the moments. =========================================== Do you remember when your first black and white print appeared in the developer? The excitement, the wonder, the magic! You couldn't wait to make the next one. Don't ever let those beautiful moments get away, they are part of the driving force of being a photographer. Remember the time you had your first credit-line under a published photograph? Doesn't that just put goose bumps and a little shiver in the body. Wasn't that a moment? Don't ever forget it. Hang-on to that first thrill of a published credit, it can never happen again. Remember it can be the most motivational element in your career. Your name with your work is your hallmark, it brings recognition few others enjoy in their lives or profession. It also helps to keep you humble. If you treat every assignment with enthusiasm, it will always help you through the mundane and boring ones and make you fly on the great ones. Enthusiasm never hurt anyone. Don't ever lose it! ted Ted Grant Photography Limited 1817 Feltham Road Victoria BC V8N 2A4 250-477-2156 tedgrantphoto.com
