Richard - while I'm not into this particular subject matter; I've  
been looking at your work with these costumed subject for some time  
now. What I find lacking in the images is your full immersion into  
the subject. I think you need to begin to put as much effort into the  
background and lighting as the subjects put into their costumes. I  
don't really know anything about these characters; but I assume from  
the literature that vampires don't dig daylight. Which, if true,  
means that you, as their photographer, can't use daylight. You have  
to use candle light and theatrical and film lighting to put them in  
their environment. When that begins to happen you'll make a quantum  
leap in expressing the quality of the costumes and scenes.
