Oh, I know it's not actually photoshopped, it's just that if you look at the edges of the wings against the center of the flower there's a very sharp delineation between "sharp" and "soft" and to me it's like a jumpcut in a movie... just doesn't seem right. In this case it's mostly the very shallow DOF and the very precise focus, but I've noticed the same thing in movies with a lot of CGI or digital backgrounds... so I think it's probably something to do with the way the edges are handled by the computer algorithms that just seems artificial.
