Thanks, Greg, but I'm learning every day!  All of this digital stuff 
is so new. I think I could study Photoshop for years and never learn 
everything it can do.  Here is a trick I just learned to remove 
chroma noise or color aliasing - those annoying fringes of green or 
red at the edges of images:
1.  Go Filter>Blur>Gaussian Bluer, select a large radius (6 pixels or 
more) and blur the image so that you can no longer see the 
noise.  The whole image will be completely blurred, but don't worry about 
that.
2.  Now go Edit>Fade Gaussian Blur and select Mode>Color from the 
drop-down menu and click OK.  This returns you to the unblurred state 
and should remove all of the unwanted color.

Everybody may already know that, but, to me, it's a miracle!!  I love 
all of these hints, whether it's a new way to scan film or a new way 
to process digital.  It's fun!
