Subject: [Leica] Backyard Fungus

With all of the expertise that is displayed on this forum, I'm sure someone 
must know what this is called.  I don't wish to compete with our friends in 
the Northeast, but, after almost three inches of rain over the weekend, this 
appeared in my backyard where there had previously been a small fungus 
growing.  It is about the size of a dinner plate.

What is it?  No, I have no interest in whether or not it is edible!
