The Cooper's Hawk photo I posted a couple of days ago (with ZERO response from the LUG) was the result of a few years getting to know the birds and allowing them to get to know me. The hawk knows me personally and knows that I respect him; he perched not more than 20' from me and stayed for a half-hour while I waited for the light to improve. Once I had my photos and put the cameras down he flew to another nearby perch. > http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/accipitridae/coha05.html Doug Herr Birdman of Sacramento http://www.wildlightphoto.com
