I've dropped it a few times so it's not worth selling or getting rid of, but it performs well when it does, but prefers to flare in some circumstances. Everytime I consider dumping it I pull it out to see if it might have some redeeming value. And it usually delivers and at 2.0 at that ... it's a quiet way of telling me: Forget that Tele-Elmarit you've been looking at, you need me. I used to have first version 90/2.8 Elmarit. Kind of long and skinny. It got stolen in the 70'ies (got it back, but not before it got replaced with a Summicron). I don't remember disliking it. I really, really do want a 90 I can have in my pocket though so the 90/4.0 Elmar (or Rokkor) is still tempting.
