My deepest empathy.
I experienced a theft from my van in Santa Fe in 1988. Absolutely  
nauseating. Lost a Nikon kit, Leica M kit, Mamiya Universal kit and  
my commercial portfolio of original 8x10 ektachrome transparencies;  
about $10,000 (1988 dollars). Eventually the gear was replaced; but  
the loss of the chromes continues to haunt me.
