I've been planning on buying an R2400, but since I'll be doing almost entirely B&W printing I'm starting to think maybe a 1280 w/eboni inks (and the full clean-up kit to handle the clogs) may be the way to go. That would mean BO printing, but the money I'd save would help cover rip software and the probable need to upgrade PS beyond Elements. This is a subject that has, more than likely, been hammered to death all over the web, but I'd appreciate a focused input. Potential deal-breaker: are the eboni inks, run through a 1280, as water-tight as the K-3 inks? To an old etcher, being able to soak a print overnight suggests terrific possibilities. Thanks in advance, Arche
