Subject: [Leica] photo'ing in a seminar. What would you have done?

In similar situations (my class at Columbia, workshops, etc.) - I
always ask the group before anything begins if anyone minds if I
photograph the event. On most occasions no one minds. But
occasionally someone says they'd rather not be photographed. I then
assure them that I will avoid having them in the frames as anyone who
could be recognized. That usually works. On a few occasions I've had
such folks come up to me during a break and tell me that on second
thought they really don't mind. It seems that after a while they miss
being part of the party.
