He chiseled out the scene on a slab of stone and then painted it on the wall of a nearby cave. I believe that he was touring the southern regions of France at the time. In any event, these cave paintings were discovered around 1890, and Ted has been denying authorship thereafer for reasons which escape reason. I think Ted is just too shy to accept credit for his early contributions to representational art. He should stand up and claim his heritage. After all, how many of us can claim to have pulled KP at the Last Supper or to have posted road guard when King Arthur went off to beat those leather hose off the Saxons at Mount Badon? Ted is an international treasure and I really fail to see why Katie Couric doesn't interview him about his experiences during the late Paleolithic Era. He has much to reveal.
