OK, I'll bite, but if we're going to move into role playing after 
this I'm outa' here.  :-)

A.  It's fun and can be very satisfying.  It adds to the pleasure of 
travel, enhances interaction with family and friends, and provides 
reminders of times past.  It stretches the imagination and the 
ability to see.  It captures time (I was here, on this date, at this 
time, this is what I saw and how I saw it, and sometimes - if I've 
done a really good job - this is what I felt about what I saw.)   It 
provides the challenge of mastering a skill set.

B.  Surroundings, family, friends; what ever catches my eye.

C.  Answered in A, I think.
