Last night the River Cats hosted their parent major league club, the Oakland A's. The night was chilly and rainy but there was nearly a full house. Many former River Cats now play on the A's. Before the game this couple watched batting practice. <http://www.adambridge.com/Photos/2006/03/30/_L3U9965-bw-crp-crv-adj.jpg> Nick Swisher signs autographs. He's a former River Cat who moved up to the major leagues last year and starts for the A's. What you don't see is that five time golden glove winner Eric Chavez is signing autographs out of frame to the left along with former River Cat and Cy Young Award Winner Barry Zito. <http://www.adambridge.com/Photos/2006/03/30/_L3U9975-bw-crp-crv-shrp.jpg> All shot with the Canon 1Ds Mk II, 70-200 f2.8L IS lens with 2x telextender afixed at ISO 800. I don't own Leica glass for this kind of shooting or I'd have used it. Your comments are most welcome and invited. Adam
