Lew - I don't keep any of those details, but the camera does.  For 
digital anyway.  It's included in the metadata which you can read in 
your camera software or in Photoshop. I usually strip out this 
information and add copyright notices, captions, and keywords in File 
Info.  For film scans, I write captions, keywords and my copyright 
notice in the File Info with each scan but I don't include any camera 
or lens information.  That's nobody's business but mine and I don't 
usually need to remember it.
