Go figure. And? If they want to make a difference in the list, complaining isn't going to do anything constructive. Nor is sending off-list emails. Create interesting threads here, and people will talk. Sit back and pout, and people will talk about subjects others have introduced. >Again, let's get back to discussing the alternate facility for the use of >the 50mm enlarging lens on the V35. So what's stopping you from talking about just that? C'mon, Marc. You're an intelligent guy. You write very well. I've read your anecdotes that prove it. Talk about your interests here. Surely, you've figured out by now that you can't dictate what everybody else talks about on a mailing list. If others are interested, they'll join in. Or just read. I don't really care about screwmounts one way or the other, but I always read John C's posts about them because he's just such a good writer. The darkroom is far from dead. You should see some of Alastair's toned beauties. That's one of the reasons we started a LUG print exchange over a year ago. Myself, I develop my own film, and then move it to digital. I just don't have the uninterrupted time to really appreciate and use a traditonal darkroom. Others in the exchange, like Alastair, use more traditional methods. C'mon. Keep pushing that shutter button. It's better than bemoaning the fact others aren't talking about what you think they should. :) -- Eric http://canid.com/
