They hired a local "professional." I had my kit with me, and from the first moment I realized this person was failing to do the job. She was bounce flashing the scene in a domed room where the glass ceiling was 40 feet high. I noted that she was letting others shoot, so I took a shot of every setup, except the ones I was supposed to be in, and had my son shoot those. We still don't have a wedding album from the photog, but they had pictures from me the next weekend. That said, by the time the reception was over, I wished I had shared the job with someone else. It is a lot of work to do it right. The room was dark too, and though I hardly ever use flash, I thank God for the M7 and SF 20 on an sc 28 extension.
