I try not to be.  If I used a 1000mm lens or a digiscope setup to photograph 
wildlife I'd feel like a sniper.  I'd rather get in closer, establish some 
interaction between the animal and myself, and make photographs only when 
the animal has given me permission.  I'd rather be a sniper only when 
photographing something that can eat me.
