In my opinion, good Asian tailors are far superior at cutting tropical weight cloths than their European counterparts. I get my shirts made in Hong Kong - the swatches come to me here in India, I choose, and the shirts are waiting at my hotel when I reach Hong Kong. Suits are cut in Hong Kong and tailored in Shanghai - you can get one made with two fittings in 4 days or so. This sort of service is impossible nowadays in London - they need six weeks for a bespoke shirt, and three to six months for a bespoke suit.
