You can do all sorts of things with the table tripod.  One tip is to fit the 
leg ends with those little rubber caps that go on the end of walking canes.  
They come in a variety of sizes and the smaller ones will fit the table 
tripod nicely.  Keeps the metal from scratching your furniture and keeps the 
pod from slipping.
