For instance, you can draw a line of separation from lower left to upper right and form two contrasting images; the crowd and the fireworks. Nice balance and contrast. So many fireworks shots are about the fireworks. But this shot does a great job of showing the crowd. Very difficult to do well. But you did it. I almost feel like I'm part of the crowd and can hear the loud cracks of the fireworks. DaveR Sometimes you have to make lemonade. It was one of those nights with lots of humidity, and no wind, so at the first salvo, the smoke just hung there. After a few moments, I realized there would be no good shots of the fireworks, so I started looking around. About that time a couple of bright high shells went off, and I saw my shot, and took it. This was shot with Fuji Natura 1600 and a VC 21mm wide open. Thanks for the nice comments. I'll hang a copy by my workstation so I can feel better when I may feel glum!
