However, thanks but no thanks! And that's exactly what I'd say to Tina. Simply because you are now turning it into a visual circus shoot with a bigger visual disturbance! Period! Yeah it might be a fun thing at a carousel day out side but in this case the kid could become more of a distraction. Let alone with a 400mm lens resting on his head or shoulder and he's not tall enough or doesn't stand steady? May I ask, have you ever felt the weight of a 400mm lens on your shoulder during 6 or 7 masses one right after the other? Let alone put the lens on your own shoulder while some else is shooting for an hour or more at one time. Boy is that ever an eye opener about weight and sore spots.
