I don't remember the details, I'd have to have a camera in front of me, but it had to do with worn out pieces of padding, I think. The mirror could come into a wrong position thus resulting in bad focus. Things like that. If you are worried about the optics (compared to Pentax ... but I really doubt that you need to be) you might seriously consider a Rolleiflex. You can get your Zeiss standard lens (75mm or 80mm) and you get a quiet, Leica-like, camera to boot. Daniel
