Enough talking, I am setting up a darkroom. Not sure how yet, as the garage
space is not very large and it is not currently light proof. The other
option is to utilize the kids' bathroom and just move things in and out.

If it were me, I would do the garage thing. Over the years Ihave done both
ways, and when I have to move things in and out, I tend to leave them out.

Build a room in the garage, think it through. Give yourself adequate
ventilation, music and a nice stool that swivels so you can reach
everything. It
won't take up much room, but the more comfortable you make it, the more you
can stay in there.

I've had three bathroom darkrooms, and they all sucked. The best darkroom
I
ever had was six feet by six feet, and it had a dry side and a wet side.
The
wet side had a 2 foot by 5 foot sink (red) and I could put 11x14 trays and
a
washer in the sink.

I had a lovely stereo in there, and enough safelight to read a magazine by.

pull one string, and regular light came on, and the safelights went out.
Nowadays, I might even bring my laptop with a safelight filter over the
screen.

Make it comfortable. and you will use it.
