Just happened to be reading the Korean Joong Ang Daily this morning and I
come upon this item:

http://joongangdaily.joins.com/200508/16/200508162245581709900090609062.html

The hand print is interesting I wonder if the finger is missing or just a
slight misprint.

""An Jung-geun camera" to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Korea's
liberation from Japan's colonial rule.

I guess if it was Germans colonial whatever you'd get a Japanese camera to
celebrate that.

Actually Korean culture has sure hit me like a brick this year. I saw a
Korean flick this week, rented it and have seen about one every month or so
for about a year now. Their film industry has been cranking out several
"hits" with international appeal and certainly on an international level
which is amazing considering the competition and how big their industry
would have to be. Or how little. I could go there, the landscape and all
the rest (people) seen pretty nice to me.

I'd heard that the Japanese idea of beauty is Korean. That the supermodels
in Japan are mostly Koreans. Come to think of it I worked with a Korean
model (American), Marla, back in the early 90's. I'm drawing a blank on
other Asian models I'd worked with in the past. But think Asian beauty is
right up there.
Not dead yet. (me)
