I just experienced that wonderful feeling again, making 16x20 fiber prints from some negatives. One was shot in 1968, but seeing it big, with luscious tones made the wait worth it. I'm going to buy more Ilford paper and spend more time over the trays, to the sound of water and Brahms, Mahler.... It's also satisfying to find pictures to print that I had overlooked originally. In the meantime, I've rediscovered the pleasures of my IIIf.
