Hi Nathan:

I had an M6 a couple of years ago but didn't like the way the shade 
covered about 1/4 of the viewfinder... so I traded it to a LUG member 
for a big Telyt-R 4.8/350mm. So far looking through the red filter 
hasn't bothered me.  I guess that it would if I used the very dark red 
filter which I've been told is THE correct one for infrared.  I have 
some very nice Retina RF cameras so I could try one of them... or use my 
Rolleiflex TLR.
