I've been using wireless flash on my Canons for several years, and
Minoltas do it as well (may even have been first).  Canon uses an IR
trigger in the hotshoe that requires line-of-sight while the Minolta
system I believe is radio so is probably more flexible.  What does the
Nikon system do?
