Ah... a meter/battery issue....  That makes more sense,

My worst meter battery story.....

My kid, whos is 18 at the time, goes on his first dive for his Scuba
certification.  We go at 7AM to the bach.  I hand him my Nikkonos V.  It
does not work.  Dead Battery.  DO you know how hard it is to get a battery
at 7AM in Kauai?  On the beach?

I did get one, about 10 minutes too late for him to take into the water.....
